Dear Arlene:
I remember the day we met it was in the winter of 1949, I had never been so interested in anyone or anything but my job, but when I saw you, I knew I had to have you or I’d die.
It was not that easy to have you because of your father who didn´t wanted you to go out with me, but still here we are married and with our beautiful Rosalie our only child. The apple of my eye and I know you can´t have more children but I would´ve loved to have a son so he can have everything when we are not here, but I know Rosalie will handle it.
I have to thank you for everything, being so patient and loving me and loving what I love, like orchids and the way you supported me when I won the spring flower show, and how you are interested in buying that van gohg you know I would really love to have beside the other paintings I love.
I really love you Arlene.
Love, Harvey.
